On August 14, 2003, the 1st China Information Security Annual Meeting & the Foundation of China CSO Club were held in Beijing. Sponsored by China Information World, the annual meeting was directed by the Network & Information Security Team of the State Council Informatization Office and China Information Technology Security Certification Center. Nearly 500 participants, including officers, industry professionals and CSOs, attended the meeting .
