The 19th China Computer Security Academic Symposium, with the subject of “Information Security Assurance System Construction”, was hold in Xi’an on July, 3rd, 2004. More than 200 participants from the government, army and various industries gave topic speeches on nation information security policies, products R&D, etc.

Two essays from NSFocus --- ESP, the Developing Trend of Comprehensive Network Security Management and Collapsar, the Invisible Defense against DoS Attacks --- were selected into the conference essay collection. Liu Wenhuan, the director of Consulting & Design Dept., gave a speech on ESP technology during the conference. The concept of advanced comprehensive security management platform drew participants’ attentions. Collapsar anti-DoS system was one of their focuses as well.
