Approved by the annual conference held by the Information Security Industry Branch of China Information Industry Trade Association, NSFOCUS is officially selected as the vice-director of council unit.

Under the guidance of Electronic Information Product Administration of Ministry of Information Industry, the Information Security Industry Branch of China Information Industry Trade Association was founded on March 29, 2002, in the purpose of further development of China's independent information security industry and promotion of the industry's standardization. For years, the Branch has been actively organizing various activities among the vendors in security circles, including: drafting categorized security criteria, rejecting unfair competition in the security market, organizing security conference across industries, and regular communication within the Trade Association. All these efforts significantly contribute to the normal development of the security industry in China. The Vice Director Unit of the Council should be undertaken by the most dominant company with great influence on the security industry. The selection of NSFOCUS reflects the recognition of the industry.   

As an important member of the Trade Association, NSFOCUS has all along been actively getting involved in various work and activities organized by the Association, and made outstanding contribution to technical innovation, research and development, localized emergency response service, and other aspects, which gained favorable appraisal and recognition from the leaders of the Association. Under the supervision of the leaders, NSFOCUS together with other vendors of the industry will make unremitting efforts for a healthy information security environment, and the harmonious development of the industry.
