On Nov. 10 NSFOCUS officially released news updates for ICEYE NIDS/NIPS products.
As a new-generation online deployed security product, the newly updated ICEYE NIPS v5.5 first integrates IPS/IDS/FW in the industry, and is capable of providing in-depth security protection from network layer, application layer to the content layer. The powerful integrated firewall implements static protection via dynamic packets filtering technology based on status detection, as well as dynamic protection powered by comprehensive protocol analysis technology, the core of which is protocol discovery, protocol anomaly detection and correlation analysis. These features perfectly solve the difficulties in the merging of static firewall protection and dynamic IPS protection, thus provide a comprehensive intrusion prevention solution for the customers.
Compared with previous versions ICEYE NIDS v5.5 adds a leading object-based policy management system to implement virtual IDS, and provide precise intrusion detection solution. Besides the extensibility has also been improved, where IDS can be updated to IPS conveniently simply by a digital license.
