The 2nd Forum on China’s Telecom Industry Information Security, with the theme of “Reliable Architecture, Global Cybersecurity”, sponsored jointly by China Telecom, China Mobile, China Netcom, China Unicom, China Satcom, China Tietong, China Institute of Electronics on Communication Society, China Communication Equipment Manufacturing Committee, China Information Industry Trade Association Information Security SubCommittee and Beijing Information Industry Association, was held ceremoniously on Apr 19 at Beijing Xizhimen Hotel. NSFOCUS attended the forum upon the invitation of the organizing committee.
Han Yonggang, Solution Center director of NSFOCUS delivered a speech entitled “Security island accelerates network construction, and green channel supports customer businesses.” On the forum, NSFOCUS was honored with the “Information Security Safeguard Excellence Award" for its industry-leading technology and innovation, powerful research and development capability and prominent information security service solutions and brand influence.
With the approach of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the information security issue is gradually growing into a hot discussion in the telecommunication industry, said an expert on the forum. Consequently, the forum, demonstrating the cooperation of the information security industry and the telecommunication industry, is bound to create a new pattern for the information security market.
