On March 13, 2008, the “China Government CIO Conference” was held by Chief Information Officer (CIO) Branch of China Information Industry Association in the lecture hall of the library of Chinese Academy of Science. This conference aims at making an inventory of important achievements in e-government affair in 2007, looking into the future development tendency of e-government affair, and probing into the management system of e-government affair that takes the CIO mechanism as the core.
