On April 20, 2008, when China Mobile Communications Corporation (China Mobile for short) celebrated its eighth anniversary, NSFOCUS was awarded the “Best Security Service of China Mobile Vendors” by Communications Weekly and www.ccidcom.com due to its long term practice of mobile vendors’ network and information security system construction, its professional security service and effective solutions.
Since its establishment, China Mobile has achieved great accomplishments. The change of service orientation from mobile communication experts to mobile information experts indicates that China Mobile is developing. Currently, China Mobile tops the communications industry not only in voice service but also in new service release and mobile Internet improvement. Meanwhile, the network and information security construction of China Mobile is improving. The organization, management and technique system-based security construction plan, the security pilot deployment and the enforcement of all security construction contents provide strong guarantee for service development of China Mobile.
NSFOCUS was established in the same year when China Mobile was set up. Powered by its independent security technologies, NSFOCUS started from providing security services required by customers at the early stage, and gradually formed an integrated security service system of its own. In recent years, besides professional security services such as security pre-alert, SOX defect remediation, security assessment, and security hardening, NSFOCUS also provides security consulting services including security policy contrivance, security system construction and security domain division for China Mobile branches in many provinces and cities including Beijing, Guangdong, Xinjiang, and Hubei, and mitigate security events’ impact on service operation through in-time emergency response service. At the same time, based on its security research accumulation and deep understanding about the industry, NSFOCUS was invited to help China Mobile compose its security criteria and give suggestions on its security project layout.
At present, the eight years old NSFOCUS is engaged in constructing China Mobile’s network security and becoming the security expert behind China Mobile.
