“Cloud Security and Website Trojaning” Experts Seminar was successfully held by NSFOCUS on afternoon November 26. Experts attended the seminar are Academician He Quande and Shen Changxiang from Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director Feng Dengguo of the State Key Laboratory of Information Security, General Yuan Wengong of National Information Security Engineering Center, Dean Chen Zhong from School of Software and Microelectronics, Peking University, Director Zou Wei of Information Security Research Center of Institute of Advanced Technology, Peking University, Director Liu Xiangdong of Scientific Achievements Communication Center of the Headquarters of General Staff, Standing Vice Director Wang Gui of China Information Technology Security Evaluation Center, Director Lv Shuwang of Peking Knowledge Security Engineering Center, Professor Wang Lifu of Teaching Directive Committee of School of Software and Microelectronics, Peking University, and Doctor Liu Baoxu of Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
President Shen Jiye gave a speech on NSFOCUS’ recent work and achievements in basic research, while vice president Wu Yunkun made a technical report named “Website Trojaning Prevention and Cloud Security Exploration”, sharing with attending experts about accomplishments NSFOCUS research team has achieved in website trojaning and cloud security. The seminar emphasized research and development done by NSFOCUS in cloud security. The topic was heatedly discussed and NSFOCUS earnestly listened to advice and suggestions from those experts.
NSFOCUS got great credit from attending experts for its constant endeavor in information security accumulation, technology improvement, and its great concentration in technique research: Academician He Dequan commended NSFOCUS’ in-depth study in website Trojaning, and expressed significant concern in NSFOCUS’ involvement in cloud security; Academician Shen Changxiang noted that information security requires research in both defense and vulnerability and viruses; Director Feng Dengguo and Chen Zhong praised NSFOCUS for being always devoted to basic research in vulnerability technique, malicious code, protocol analysis and network prevention; experts including General Yuan Wengong, Director Wang Guisi, Zou Wei, Liu Xiangdong, and Lv Shuwang analyzed what NSFOCUS did in cloud security, commented affirmatively and offered valuable suggestions.
This seminar plays a very important and positive role in instructing NSFOCUS to perform basic security research and further implement forwarding research of cloud security.
