According to the statistics released by IDC about Chinese IT security market share in the first half of the year 2008, NSFOCUS is still the No. 1 in IPS/IDS hardware market.

The report from IDC noted that profit of Chinese IT security industry in the first half of 2008 is better than expected. Intrusion Detection System (IDS) hardware market especially gained a strong momentum, increasing by 99.6% compared with the same time last year, and becoming the fastest growing sub-market. As the earliest vendor providing IPS, NSFOCUS IPS products’ market share reaches 14.8%. In IDS market, NSFOCUS keeps a strong momentum, with profit increased by 130% compared with the same time last year, keeping on leading the national IDS market.

IDC optimistically estimates that IPS and IDS hardware market will make further breakthrough in the second half of the year. NSFOCUS will go on earnestly cultivating its IPS/IDS products to provide better products and services for customers.
