Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC released the appraisal results of the 2008-2009 National Key New Products Program. The NSFOCUS Anti-Denial of Service (Anti-DoS) system of NSFOCUS is one of the products being elected for the new program. This not only shows the high innovation and advanced technology of this program, but also demonstrates a bright prospect of Anti-DoS system, which has an independent intellectual property and substantially drives common technologies of the industry ahead.

The National Key New Products Program (herein referred to as “the Program”) is a strategic support plan pushed forward by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC that aims to guide and improve scientific advancement of companies and scientific and research institutions, and boost their technological innovation capability, so as to accelerate industrial structure optimization and product structure adjustment, and fully exert the effect of product innovation in the entire country’s innovation system.

Powered by abundant research in anti-DoS, NSFOCUS launched China’s first Collapsar Anti-DoS system in 2001, and had widely deployed it in most operators’ backbone networks before the 2008 Olympic Games, completely protecting Olympic infrastructures from DDoS attacks. Till then, NSFOCUS had provided almost 1000G prevention capability for all customers, preventing massive traffic DoS as well as low traffic application attacks such as CC, fully controlling various attacks readily.
