NSFOCUS recently received the “Best Independent Innovation Award” from CCID in an activity reviewing major security products of the year 2008. A special column called “2008 CCID Security Manufacturers Billboard” gave detailed report on this activity.

NSFOCUS submitted its NSFOCUS Network Intrusion Prevention System (NSFOCUS NIPS)—first intrusion prevention system in China—for appraisal. As an online-deployed security product with excellent cost performance and powerful functions such as in-time, active and all-round network protection, application prevention and content management, NSFOCUS NIPS was highly acknowledged and has taken the largest share in national IPS market three consecutive years.

In 2008, NSFOCUS brought up the cloud security project to become the first company among major security vendors in China that have done this, and made its first step in Web Trojan detection.
