Recently, NSFOCUS received the High-tech Enterprise Certification jointly issued by Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Beijing Municipal Ministry of Finance, Beijing Municipal Office of State Administration of Taxation, and Beijing Local Taxation Bureau, to become one of the first high-tech enterprises that have received this certification in China after the restart of the recognition task.

According to the Administration of the Recognition of High-tech Enterprises and the High-Tech Fields under the Key Support of the State jointly issued by Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation (SAT) in April 2008, high-tech enterprises need to be re-recognized. The new recognition takes the followings as its main guideline: core independent intellectual property of an enterprise, capability of transforming scientific achievements, organization and management of research and development, total assets and growing capability. The proportions of income spent in research and development compared with the sales income, of income acquired from high-tech products (services) compared with total income, and of scientific employee compared with the entire staff of the enterprise are strictly examined. NSFOCUS passes all above regulated provisions and becomes one of the enterprises that received the High-tech Enterprise Certification. More than 16,000 enterprises in Beijing applied for this certification. This certification demonstrates NSFOCUS’ comprehensive competence in high-tech research, transformation and development.

To boost the development of high-tech industry, China released a series of measures for the support of high-tech enterprises and invested a large amount of money to help these enterprises develop.
