On April 16, the “2009 High-level Forum on Communication Network and Information Security” was successfully held in Beijing Nanyueyuan Hotel. More than 200 attendees from governmental agencies, operation industries, vendors and consultative and research institutions were there. Governmental and industrial experts including Xiong Sihao, vice director general of the Communication Safeguard Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC, Liang You, manager of the Network Security Section of the Network Department of China Mobile Communications Corporation, Xu Haidong, manager of the Internet Section of the Operation and Maintenance Department of the China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited, and Jin Huamin, vice minister of the Data Communication Research Department of the China Telecom Guangzhou Research Academy attended the forum and made speeches.
Tian Min from the NSFOCUS Technical Industry Marketing Center made a speech named Detection and Defense of Botenet, illustrating the threat and danger, detection and defense of Botnet, and the method for preventing Botnet on operators’ networks. His speech won great acclaim among attendees.
