On January 13, 2010, the Beijing Municipal Administration Information Security Emergency Response Center organized the commendation meeting in recognition of companies that have contributed to information security of Beijing Municipal Administration Systems during China’s 60th anniversary. NSFOCUS received an award called “Leading Network and Information Security Assurance Company for China's 60th Anniversary” from Beijing Network and Information Security Coordination Group, Beijing Communication and Information Security Emergency Command Office, and Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology.
In order to handle emergent security events during the 60th anniversary of the New China, Beijing Municipal Administration Information Security Emergency Response Center arranged dedicated engineers safeguarding the municipal systems against any security events from September 25 to October 8, 2009.
As a supporting company in the National Day security period, NSFOCUS arranged some engineers to monitor the state of Internet security, particularly security status at all levels of government web sites, and send results of each day to the Municipal Administration Information Security Emergency Response Center. Through the cloud security-based Internet security monitoring platform, NSFOCUS is able to monitor Internet security on the Web site to find out Trojan plants in real time. On this basis, the on-duty engineers provide Beijing Municipal Information Security Evaluation (Services) Center and Municipal Administration Information Security Emergency Response Center with public Internet information, suggesting the daily Internet security status and the short-term trend.
In addition, this meeting also includes exchanges of ideas on the thinking and priorities of 2010 Beijing information security as well as the recent information security situation. The main idea about 2010 information security work in Beijing is also put forward. The meeting held that 2010 is the year majoring in Beijing information security protection, and further improvement should be conducted on the safety and security normalization. Concentrating on the formation of municipal emergency response teams, professional teams at all levels of emergency support should be formed to consummate the emergency response team management mechanism, providing strong support for the further improvement of information security in Beijing and laying a solid foundation for building Beijing into a first-class city with high information security credibility. As a leader of domestic security business, NSFOCUS will make further contributions to establishing and improving Beijing's network and information security emergency plans.
