| NSFOCUS 10G Multi-core Anti-DDoS Product Hits the Market |

On July 9, NSFOCUS launched a new generation 10Gigabit anti-denial of service product powered by multi-core processor architecture—the ADS 6000 series.
As the 10G attack prevention platform targeting at the high-end DDoS attack prevention market, the product performs effective cleansing over DDoS attack traffic taking place in backbone networks of carriers, MANs (Metropolitan Area Networks), IDCs (Internet Data Centers), Internet websites and other environments. The product not only inherits the rich prevention algorithms, unique prevention designs, flexible deployments and other technical advantages from other outstanding anomaly traffic cleansing product series of NSFOCUS, but also has the following characteristics:
- High availability. A single 2U device has a 10G line-speed attack traffic handling capacity. And a cluster of this kind of devices can easily form a system solution of N*10G performance.
- Multi-core processor architecture. This product is equipped with an advanced low power consumption, security-dedicated multi-core processor, which allows each micro-core processor to take charge of each type of attack prevention and management tasks respectively, thus effectively enhancing its prevention performance against application-based attacks. Since DDoS attacks are targeting at applications more and more, the security-dedicated multi-core processor will ensure high prevention performance even after new application-layer attack prevention algorithms or applications are added in the future.
- Environmental design. The whole machine, from the chip to the component, gives full consideration to the green, environmental indicators, to achieve the system's low power consumption.
