As the domestic security leader, NSFOCUS was invited to the network security technology seminar hosted by Macau Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (MOCERT) on July 26. Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Macau branch and Macau New Technologies Incubator Center were present at the meeting. The speech made by NSFOCUS security expert at this meeting, describing security trends in the domestic Internet industry, technical theories and serious consequences of DDoS attacks, and effective security measures thereof, received a high rating among participants.
According to the 2009 China Internet Network Security Report released on April 9, 2010 at the official website of CNCERT/CC, the top 5 domestic Internet threats are malicious code, network spoofing, web page defacement, Trojan virus and worm, and denial of service attacks. There are 262000 zombies and millions of infected hosts on mainland China, controlled by as many as 165000 host IP addresses overseas.
In face of this grim situation, NSFOCUS security technical manager Chen Kunpeng made a speech themed "Chinese Internet Security" to analyze technical theories of present popular Internet security threats and describe measures to defend against them. Internet security threats are increasingly complex. As a pioneer in domestic network security industry, NSFOCUS is willing to share its research achievements with fellow partners and product users, so as to prevent and mitigate these security threats together.

“For Botnet, DDoS attack is just one kind of attack on it, because Botnet is a platform carrying various types of attacks.” said Mr. Tang Kang, director of the MOCERT, “Any attack could happen on Botnet.” In addition, CERT leader Mr. Roy Ko gave a wonderful speech entitled "Information Security Status and Trend", mentioning that there are hundreds of attacks occurring on the Internet around the world each month, most of which are specially focusing on business-related fields. During a paralysis attack, attackers may exploit spoofed banking or social networking service (SNS) pages to steal critical user information, like user account, for example.
NSFOCUS has been committed to network and application security research over ten years. Based on the in-depth analysis and understanding of technical theories of threats like SQL Injection, XSS, Web Malware, and Botnet, combined with solid and competitive security services and security products, NSFOCUS achieves a three-stage solution of proactive precaution, real-time prevention and emergency response and restoration to fight against Internet threats. At the meeting, NSFOCUS also shared its comprehensive network security solutions about how to react to large-scale DDoS attacks through real-time warning and hierarchical protection, providing personalized service for customer network applications.
